Coil Machine Setup Operator

Location: Wichita, KS

Shift: 1st Shift & 2nd Shift

Join Our Coil Machine Operator 

Work You Will Do:

  • Handle materials to and from the workstation.
  • Set up and operate fin press, expander press, and hairpin tubing press.
  • Assess need for tool and die maintenance; perform as necessary.
  • Maintain quality standards; report material shortages and keep workstation organized.
  • Read and understand OMS job instructions; prepare workstation and equipment for production.
  • Conduct first and last part inspections against OMS/specifications.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor and adhere to safety rules.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience; must read blueprints and use a tape measure.
  • Complete PLC and SPC training; proficient in fractions, decimals, and basic arithmetic.
  • Able to read safety rules and operational documents; apply common sense to follow instructions.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 55 pounds; frequent exposure to noise, vibration, and moving parts.
  • Work in a demanding environment; knowledgeable about and follow all safety policies.
