Location: Wichita, KS

Join Our Tool Maker Team

Work You Will Do:

  • Design, build, and repair tools, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Operate machine tools to fabricate metal components.
  • Assemble and modify tooling to meet specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Mentor apprentices and lower-level employees.
  • Other duties to be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Experience with precision measuring equipment such as height gauge, gauge pins, and etc.
  • 3-5 years of tool and dye experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • General shop math skills for print conversion and basic geometry.
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy steel materials (up to 50 lbs or more).
  • Ability to stand, bend, stair climb, and work in a fast-paced environment for extended periods (8+ hours).
  • Capability to work in various industrial conditions (e.g., noise, heat, etc.)
